Hotel Janas

Everyone we interacted with was polite. The room was clean and well maintained, and the bathroom was spotless. Toiletries and towels were provided, along with two water bottles and condiments. Room service was available, and the approach road was easy to navigate. Parking was decent, with a night guard, and Alipiri wasn’t too far away. The rooms are a little compact. There’s a multi-cuisine restaurant on the ground floor, though many people visiting Tirupati mostly prefer vegetarian food.

We stayed three nights at Hotel Janas, and the place near Alipiri made getting around easy. ISKCON Temple is also very close, which added to the peaceful feel. The in-house restaurant is called Mint. I’ve written a detailed review on its restaurant page, but simply put, it’s worth trying. The rooms were cozy, clean, and well maintained, with soft beds, proper amenities and toiletries, and spotless toilets. Staff were caring and attentive, even calling during our stay to check if we were comfortable or needed anything. Hotel Janas had a warm, peaceful atmosphere, and we checked out smiling. We’d happily return.

Mr. Srinivas deserves special mention for being helpful, attentive, and courteous. His professionalism and positive attitude helped make our stay smooth and comfortable. Janas Hotel, Tirupati was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and we had a pleasant stay. I’d recommend it to friends and family visiting Tirupati.

I called before booking through agoda to ask about early check-in. The hotel agreed and asked for an extra 1000rs for checking in more than six hours early, which I accepted. But when I arrived at 7a.m, they said the hotel was fully booked and they could only give us a room after someone checked out. Housekeeping would arrive around 8 - 8.30 a.m., and then they’d clean a room for us. After a 12hr journey, we’d reached Tirupati for afternoon darshan and were due to check out at 10p.m. that same day. We spoke to the Manager, who agreed to a free cancellation, so we stayed at another hotel. But when agoda emailed about the refund, it was denied. The manager didn’t answer calls all day yesterday, and today he refused the refund. Pavan Kumar the manager lies through the teeth. Please record your calls with people like this. Horrible customer service. Never trust this hotel.
