OYO 67796 Sree Guru Lakshmi Residency

The blankets smelled bad and had blood spots, the washroom was ugly, and there were cockroaches in the room. They charged a high price but didn't even provide cleaning service. We booked an AC room, but they switched it off in the middle of the night. The older man at reception was very rude. For that price, you can get a better room elsewhere.

The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms filthy, and the hygiene across the place was shocking. It all felt neglected and uncomfortable. At reception, the man was extremely rude and showed no respect. He told us to wait while he ate, even though we were running late. When we politely said we were in a hurry, he brushed us off and insisted we wait until he finished. Then, when we raised concerns, he lectured us about what the receipt said, contradicting what he'd told us earlier. He wouldn't listen or help, just demanded that we accept his version and acted like he was doing us a favor. Booking here was a nightmare, the worst hotel stay I've had. I regret it. Be careful and avoid this place.

We had no hot water, but they only told us after we'd taken the room. Our darshan was delayed, so we arrived two hours late for the 6 p.m. checkout and got there at 8 p.m. Even though we'd requested an extension in advance, they charged ₹1000 for those two hours. When we raised the problems with management, they were uninterested and unapologetic. From check-in on, the front desk seemed unfriendly and disinterested, and the staff stayed rude and unprofessional throughout. The stay was stressful, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

The view of the excellent gopuram right in front was lovely. Nice hotel in Tirupati, close to sri Govindarajulu swamy temple.
