The best thing is the location beside the temple, which you can walk to any time. But getting to the bus or railway station means spending 100 rupees on an auto each time, and there are better, moderately priced hotels right in the city center, just steps from both stations. The place has a nice appearance and ambience, though it doesn’t really look as new as they claim. At 1500 INR a night, I found it expensive. During my two-day stay there was no hot water, even after I told management 4-5 times. The bathroom stank, and nobody came to clean the room. The bed and pillow were covered in hair, and receptionist Reddappa didn’t pay attention to our problems. I’d avoid staying here.

It’s about 5 kms from the city, though Padmavathi Ammavari Temple is within walking distance. Autos and OLA cabs are around, but they charge a lot. For the price, I’d book online through the OYO rooms website since walk-in rates are higher. The breakfast arrangement is confusing, with one person saying it’s complimentary and another saying it isn’t. There’s no kitchen, so the food comes from outside. Breakfast was the same each day: 2 idli, 1 vada, sambar, chutney, and a little pongal. They gave us one water bottle when we arrived, but the room hadn’t been cleaned well, with soap wrappers and hair lint on the floor and bed. The outside of the building looks good, and the reception and lift areas were clean. The rooms aren’t maintained properly, though. The bathrooms smelled bad and the tiles were already damaged despite the place being new. We had no hot water during our two days there. Since Tirupathi is hot in Summer, I managed with cold water for bathing and brushing. Reddappa was rude and would hang up when I called from the room for service. The other staff seemed decent, but didn’t coordinate well. The AC worked, while the TV had only a few channels. It’s okay for a one-day stay.

The rooms are large, spacious, and don’t smell musty, and the bathroom was reasonably clean. The place is in tiruchannoor, very close to padmavathi temple, and the rooms are part time rooms when the convention hall isn’t booked. Amenities are bare, though. Linen could be cleaner, and the bathroom fixtures need maintenance. There are lots of mosquitos and very few liquidators. As they mention, the TV has only free programs. Sometimes there’s just one helper, and there’s no attached restaurant. anand bhavan near padmavathi temple is walkable and good, though it lacks variety. There’s open area for car parking, but no security.

It’s a decent hall, not too small or too big, and the main hall is clean and neat. The balcony means it can accommodate more people. Parking is available, but only for a few cars, and it’s manageable even though the road to the marriage Hall gets busy on Saturdays because of the temples nearby. The hall looks new.
