The room itself was in awful condition, and the bathroom was horrible. The hand shower, toilet basin, and bucket were all terrible. If you just need to freshen up, the public toilets at the bus stand are much better than this property.
The booking wasn’t handled properly by the staff, and the service was very poor. Rooms were too cramped and had no proper ventilation. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned, the lights there didn’t work, and the rooms lacked proper facilities. A very bad experience. I don’t recommend booking here.
We paid 600 for the room and I felt it was worth every penny. The stay was really good, and the service was friendly. You have to adjust to the standards for what you pay. It’s not a seven-star place, and that’s fine. Live and let live.
We slept well and had a good stay. The rooms were clean, and the staff were polite. Solar-powered hot water was available without interruption, and they provided drinking water, with bottled water also available to buy. It’s near Sri Venugopala swamy temple. The hotel staff arranged paid car parking about 30 yards away, behind a cinema theatre belonging to the theatre people.
The washrooms were very unhygienic. We paid 2000 for a Non-AC room that wasn’t worth even 500, and STBs were hanging over the TV screen, as shown in the attached photos. There was no hot water in the room. They said the ‘Solar Heater’ had been installed recently, or that it wasn’t working because of the cloudy weather. After we insisted, they might provide hot water in a bucket. A really unpleasant experience, and the photos online are misleading.
