Reva Guest House by OYO Rooms

Room 103 was an okay stay, though not a pleasant one. The reception guy controls the AC from an MCB outside the room. Our towels were old and frayed at the edges, the bathroom was tiny, and the sockets beside the bed didn’t work.

This was the second time I’ve had this experience, and I’m very frustrated. After we reached the hotel near Tiruchanoor by auto or taxi, it wasn’t practical to turn around after spending that much on the ride. The manager then demanded extra money despite our online payment and said we wouldn’t be allowed to check in unless we paid. He wouldn’t give us the owner’s phone number, and when customers are told to complain to anyone or cancel the booking, that’s no way to respond. Oyo and goibibo’s toll-free numbers weren’t working when we tried to raise the issue. It felt like an illegal business creating problems to get more money, and I don’t know how many other customers have faced this. Please take action and remove the hotel from Oyo and goibibo to protect customers.

The rooms weren’t very clean, and the AC made a lot of noise. There’s no pantry and no drinking water provided, so we had to arrange everything outside ourselves, including tea, coffee, and cold drinks.

We stayed here last week. It now goes by Sunshine Residency, with Triveni Residency on the sign above it, though I’m not sure what the place used to be called. The rooms are budget friendly, clean, and spacious enough for two adults. There’s also a lift and car parking.
