The mattress was one of the best I’ve slept on, and the gas cooking setup was a nice touch since I prefer it to induction. Staff were courteous, check-in was smooth, and it was a peaceful stay at reasonable rates through a platform like booking .com. Direct booking rates are high and don’t feel worth it. A few things could be better. The “Garden” is really just a forest that happens to be there, and there’s no 24 hr security person to monitor visitors. The TV is a standard size, not a smart model with app downloads like Netflix in almost all rooms. General cleanliness in the property, rooms, sheets, and appliances could improve. The walls look a little dirty, and the microwave was greasy when I checked it. The washroom was a little small, and some more subtle amenities could make the place more appealing. For this review, I’m talking about the property in Whitefield. It’s half a kilometre inland from the main road, where there are several outlets within walking distance, including corner house ice cream,CCD, Bangalore Mandarin.

The view from room 302 of the Hills where Shri Venkateshwara resides was excellent. I also appreciated the little details throughout the apartment, and Shiva was a polite gentleman who provided hassle free service. I had such a good time that I want to return, and I hear Truelife has a luxury segment too, Mr. Owner, I’d like to experience that next time. I was told the Truelife brand is managed by a USA based Indian. We were a family of 4, and the 2BHK was furnished just right for a small family. There’s a dining table with four cushioned chairs, a functioning refrigerator, and two bedrooms with cabinets, attached spacious bathrooms, working ACs, geysers, fans, good lighting, and functioning bed lights. We didn’t need the AC in December. The hall has tasteful wall painting, an L shaped Sofa, and a flat TV on a long cabinet. There’s a little storeroom for extra bedding beside the hall. At the other end, the kitchen has a gas stove, an induction stove, an online Aquaguard for drinking water, a large stainless steel sink, and modular cabinets below the counter. The provided cooking items included four large plates, two bowls, a pan with an induction base, and a large serving spoon. Cutlery and enough bowls were missing, so I had to ask for spoons. The kitchen opens to a washing area with a tap and enough cloth wire to dry clothes. Our balcony got direct sunlight for drying clothes. They brought half a litre of milk every morning at 7 am and breakfast at 8 am. Zomato and Swiggy delivered efficiently. The railway station is 1km away, Rapdio and Uber served the area without trouble, and Govinda Raja Swamy temple is very near. There’s a convenience store nearby for daily needs. I was apprehensive at first, but once I entered the apartment I was amazed by how well it was maintained. This was one of my best decisions about a stay so far, and the long review probably shows I want to come back.

We stayed one night as a group of 5 people, and the price was affordable. Hospitality was nice, and breakfast was included. They didn’t charge extra even though my stay ran a few minutes over. Thanks for the service.

We stayed for two days last week with family. The rooms were clean, the host was available 24X7, and the kitchen came with a lift, TV, and ACs that worked fine. They brought a 1/2litre milk packet each morning for tea or coffee, and we even used the leftover milk to make curd. Breakfast was tasty, and they helped arrange a cab. It’s 1km or less from the railway station. A great place for families or a group of friends.
