Ginger Chennai Omr

The rooms were a bit small, but I still had a nice stay. Breakfast had a good spread, and the employees were friendly and cooperative. Special thanks to Shashank, Palak, Apurva & Sameer for the service.

Tiyash, Eva, Hema, and Sourajyoti made me feel welcome and valued. They were polite, professional, quick to help, and handled requests with a smile and a proactive attitude. The hotel was also clean and comfortable, with a high standard of service. Their hospitality made the stay memorable.

The rooms were small, though neat and clean, and felt like good value for the money. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and cooperative. I appreciated the service at Hotel Ginger, especially the support from Manager Mr. G. Suresh and Front Office Executive Mr. Kunal. It was a pleasant, satisfying stay.

Marina Mall is an easy five-minute walk away, and there’s ample parking. The hotel is close to major IT firms, though quite far from central Chennai. Rooms were spacious compared with some other Ginger hotels I’ve stayed at, and the food was decent enough. Breakfast was a letdown. At 7:30 a.m. I asked for an omelet and was told it would be delayed. When I asked for filter coffee, they said there wasn’t any, so I had to rely on the flask coffee, which was pathetic. Getting around was difficult too. It’s tough to use Ola, Uber, Rapido, and similar app-based taxis. Drivers ask upfront for double the fare shown. With Ola, the bill can show a high amount but might end up lower, and I had a very bad experience. The hotel provides cabs to airports but won’t provide one to the railway station. That’s not acceptable.
