The team’s guest service was outstanding, and they went above and beyond to make things comfortable and convenient. Sashi and Subhash gave us patient, knowledgeable help with the darshan arrangements, with clear directions that made the spiritual experience smooth and stress-free. At Ananthara Hotel, Tiruvannamalai, we also got a warm welcome from the front office lady receptionist. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name, but she was professional and helpful. It was a pleasant, memorable stay, and I’d happily return and recommend the hotel.

A peaceful location close to the temple and Girivalam path, with polite, helpful staff who made sure our stay was pleasant. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The view from the window was the real highlight. We could clearly see Annamalaiyar Temple, including Ammani Gopuram and the other gopurams. Waking up to that sight made our visit to Tiruvannamalai special. A memorable place to stay, especially if you want to feel Arunachala’s divine presence from your room.

The service and amenities were excellent and well maintained, and I had a pleasant stay overall. But at checkout I was asked to wait an extra 5 minutes while staff checked the room to make sure I hadn’t taken anything. I understand standard procedures, but it felt unnecessary and uncomfortable after an otherwise good stay. Checks like that could be handled more discreetly, or guests could be trusted unless there’s a particular concern. Small moments like this can make a real difference to the experience. I hope the feedback is taken constructively.
