The cafeteria serves tasty food, and the service is polite and very nice. The rooms are spacious, very neat and clean, and the place has a lovely ambience. It’s excellent value for the amount we paid, with a very good location. I was pleased with the food, stay, and service, and would recommend it to anyone going to Thiruvannamalai.

A few things are worth planning before a visit. Autos can take a lot of your money, and the trip from the stay to the temple is at least 200, with limited room to bargain. For Girivalam, it’s about 17km to 20km, so starting in the evening or at night is preferable. Bookmark the 8 temples on a map so you don’t miss any. Plan around the weather, too. We planned well ahead and had pleasant weather, not cold at all. At Hotel Aalayam, Tiruvannamalai, the rooms and the TTDC are very neat and clean. I’d say it’s far better than TTD. It’s a bit high pricey, but budget friendly compared with nearby hotels, and worth the money. The in-house restaurant serves very good food. Breakfast is complimentary, and meals are 180 for adults and 100 RS for kids. They also have tea and dinner in the evening. Everything was impressive. I’d choose this hotel again and refer friends. This was my first Tiruvannamalai visit, and I found the hotel online. Book at least a week ahead during un-season, or at least one month before during peak season. The website server was down most of the times, but offline booking is possible, so call them. Really nice service, loved the stay. The hotel has an extraordinary view of Tiruvannamalai hill. The rooms are comfortable and very nice, and they gave us a good room. You can upgrade for a charge. After checkout the next day, they may let you leave luggage in a separate room, and there’s a separate washroom for freshening up. The food is good, though don’t expect too much. There’s plenty of car parking, a lift, free wifi, TV, RO water, and a toiletries kit. The restaurant serves good food, and complimentary breakfast is provided. Staff are very cooperative, and the rooms are neat and clean. It’s an amazing place that’s properly maintained, near Eshanya lingam, and the rooms are spacious. The stay is decent overall. A few things weren’t so good. For non AC rooms they don’t provide a bed spread or towels, and room service isn’t available. The toilet water gun wasn’t cleaned properly, you know what I mean. 😏 They charge for 20 hours only, not 24 Hours, which I don’t think is ethical. Lunch and mini meals cost ₹190, which is very high.

We stayed in a 3-bedroom cottage, and it was excellent. The rooms and washrooms were very clean and well maintained, and they thoughtfully provided a washroom kit and drinking water bottles for all three of us. The unlimited buffet breakfast was complimentary, fresh, tasty, and hygienic. The property is peaceful, clean, and very well maintained, just what you want for a visit to Arunachalam. It’s a little far from the temple, but there are lots of travel options right outside the Hotel. One thing that could make it more convenient for devotees is a more flexible check-in and check-out option, since darshan and travel timings can be unpredictable. We were highly satisfied and would definitely stay here again. 🙏✨
