The lift wasn’t working, so we had to go back and forth between the ground, first, second, and third floors while checking rooms. That was a real hassle. We’d booked three rooms for eight people through Agoda App and arrived around 9 PM. The manager wanted full payment before letting us see the rooms and said they were clean, so we paid because it was late and we had family with us. Once inside, it was obvious the beds and sheets hadn’t been changed. There were footprints and hair, some sheets were wet, and the towels looked used and had been left out to dry. When we raised it, the manager was casual about it and said rooms couldn’t be cleaned every time since this is a pilgrim place. The other rooms he showed us were just as dirty. We were asked for another ₹600 for a different room. After negotiating, we paid ₹500 extra because we had little choice with the time and our family. This wasn’t suitable for a family stay, and felt like a very basic OYO-type place. Very disappointing, with poor cleanliness, used linens and towels, extra charges for a cleaner room, a broken lift, and unprofessional staff. It didn’t meet basic standards.
