Temple View Home Stay

We stayed in the two room suite with two bathrooms, and both the room and the fresh linen were clean, just as they looked in the online photos. The caretakers responded patiently and promptly to our calls and requests, even bringing coffee whenever we asked. Mr.Naresh, the manager, was very cordial, professional, and helpful in making sure we had a good stay. Temple view homestay is about 250 -500 metres from the temple. We stayed on the 26th of Dec '25, and I highly recommend the place for a visit to Tiruvannamalai.

The receptionist called me two days after we booked and asked me to cancel because rooms weren’t available. When I checked with the booking website customer care, the information was that I had requested the cancellation. I called the owner, and he told me to do whatever I wanted because he didn’t care. Rooms are still listed on all the websites. They seem to sell them only when the price is high.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and family friendly, and it’s an easy walk to the Temple north gate. Naresh and the team were very helpful, guiding us several times on our first visit to Thiruvannamalai. Their service was exceptional. We had a wonderful stay at Temple View Homestay.

Loved the elaichi tea, it was delicious, and refreshments were easy to get. Temple View Homestay was a wonderful stay, with friendly, attentive staff and great hospitality. Our room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the temple and hill. It felt peaceful and refreshing. AC and 24-hour hot water made things comfortable, and the price was totally affordable. It’s a four minute walk to Ammani Amman Gopuram and near Raja Gopuram. The hotel and medical facility are also within walking distance. Highly recommended for a relaxing, pleasant stay!
