The room was well maintained and more than worth what we paid. I had the first room on the ground floor, which was spacious enough for four, and they had an extra bed. It also had AC, a fan, and hot water. The temple is about 5-10 minutes away, so the distance worked well for me. I’d stay here again without hesitation. A biker friend pointed me to this place while I was planning my trip to Tiruvannamalai. I called Mr.Gopinath about 30 minutes before checking in around 11.30. He answered very politely and clearly and told me the room price. When I arrived, I met his father, Mr.Sundaram I believe. They asked where I was visiting from and about my plans, and helped answer a few questions about the Girivalam and other things. Their hospitality was very welcoming.

Right on the Girivala path, Sivasankaran Home is a clean, comfortable place to rest and enjoy the spiritual atmosphere of Tiruvannamalai. It’s good value for money, and staying here feels like part of the experience of exploring the city.

I visit Tiruvannamalai often, and I wish I’d found Gopinath sir and his father Sundharam sir sooner. I’m grateful for the kindness and hospitality they showed me as a genuine customer. I’d recommend this stay 10/10.
