Hotel Amoha

The warm, attentive hospitality made this place feel like home, and the service stayed on point throughout. The atmosphere added to the experience. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and there was more than enough. They really get both the food and the people right ❤️

A convenient stop for prayers, and the location is good. Breakfast was decent, with a proper selection of South Indian choices. The mattress, though, was not comfortable at all.

The food was good, the rooms were clean and neat, and the location is convenient for getting to the temple. The rest of the stay was satisfactory, but the reception experience was not. We’d traveled a long distance and were with senior citizens when we asked for an early check-in. I understand the usual check-in time is 2 PM, but the request was treated as if it were unreasonable. The reception staff were very rude, with little of the courtesy and warmth guests should be able to expect. I’ve stayed at many hotels across India and haven’t encountered that attitude before. I hope management takes this feedback constructively and improves the guest experience at the front desk.

I chose AMOHA Hotel for my annual pilgrimage to Thiruvannamalai, and it was great value for money. My temple-view room looked straight at the 'Annamalayar' temple through the window. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious, and all the staff were friendly and very respectful. A really nice stay for the price.
