The room service was awful. They didn’t clean the room even after we asked them to do it before we left. The sheets were dirty and had blood stains, and the tap was so loose it looked like it might break. The electricity wasn’t working properly: the charging setup and heater were unstable, and then the heater stopped working altogether. The air conditioning also cuts out every half hour or so.

Good water supply and Wi-Fi in the room, and room service was good too. The stay was pleasant, with the property conveniently close to the highway.

We were really let down by our stay at Shiva Residency. We had an important function to attend, but there was no water in the room when we needed to get ready. The number displayed in the room connected us to another hotel when we called reception. We were only given the correct contact number for Shiva Residency after that. Once we reached the right person, they said the motor was being repaired and water would be back in 10 minutes. We waited more than two hours and still had no water. This caused a lot of inconvenience and delayed us on an important occasion. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and improves both service and communication.

We held my friend’s engagement here, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. The owner was amazing and the staff were very cooperative. The food tasted just like what you’d get in a South Indian home, maybe even better. In Bengaluru, this is one of the best places for hosting an event. The location and terrace view make it feel blissful.
