Affordable rooms in a prime area.

It’s close to the main area and very near Tumkur University Campus, and rooms are usually available. The prices are affordable, too. But the rooms are small and feel cramped, and maintenance isn’t proper. It doesn’t look very clean, so anyone particular about hygiene may struggle to stay here.

The rooms, bed, and blanket were really dirty, and the staff were rude. We weren’t offered hot bathing water or plain drinking water, and there was no parking. We’d booked for two people but got only one queen-size bed. They also kept us waiting 30 minutes to confirm our booking in yatra. After driving 510 kms from palolem to tumkaru in one day, we couldn’t put up with the wait. The worst hotel I’ve stayed in India. Please don’t consider it.

There was no parking at all, and the water was completely dirty. I think they haven’t cleaned the tank in so many years, yuk. This is one of the worst lodges and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Please make the place better so guests can have a comfortable stay. Don’t book.
