Wilderness camp Resort Pench

The rooms were good and clean, the food was wonderful, and the staff were polite and professional. It feels close to nature, making it a lovely place for a jungle safari. I’d recommend it for a short trip.

The food was good at dinner, and the rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. The children also enjoyed the board games. Breakfast, though, wasn’t up to the mark. Since we were leaving for safari in the morning, they packed it for us, but the quality and quantity were lacking. We booked the resort for tree dining, but some bachelors had reserved the area for a whole night of drinking, and nobody else could go up. The waiter said it was already booked. It seemed strange that guests who had booked rooms couldn’t use it, and it left me feeling this wasn’t a family resort. Management, please consider families traveling with children and parents, and add more indoor games for families and kids.

The resort didn’t meet our expectations, and I’d suggest choosing another brand in Pench. For the price, it wasn’t worth it. The rooms looked dated and had shady carpets, while the buffet had little variety for the 5-star prices they charge. The staff didn’t know how to speak to guests. The resort manager was courteous enough to apologize on their behalf, but the overall experience was disappointing.

The meals were a highlight for me, freshly made and full of authentic flavor, and the staff were quick, attentive, and always welcoming. Pench Wilderness Camp also feels like good value for the experience. It’s surrounded by greenery and wildlife yet easy to reach, with the comforts you need for a peaceful break in nature. A great mix for a trip with family or friends, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Pench.
