Darshan Villa

Mr vishnu deserves a special mention for the wonderful hospitality. The location was amazing, and I had a great experience throughout.

The breakfast was the one thing they got right: it arrived on time, was well prepared, and matched our customizations. Staff also helped with a lot when we asked. The property may have potential, but poor management and misleading promises ruined the stay. We booked the entire villa for a cousin's trip, expecting 8 AC rooms, a clean conference hall, full privacy, 24×7 power backup, rain dance, a swimming pool, and breakfast. The reality was far from that. Only 3-4 rooms had working ACs. In the others, the cooling didn't work, the remotes were broken, or the AC wouldn't run at all, which was unacceptable in summer heat. Most bathrooms were clean, but a few toilet seats were dirty and some water jets didn't work. The rain dance would run for about 5 minutes, then stop for 15-20 minutes, every time we tried it. The hall was dirty when we checked in, as if it hadn't been cleaned before we arrived. Electricity went out several times and backup took a while to restore power each time. Privacy was the worst issue. Though we'd booked the whole villa, other guests were allowed into the hall around 7 AM, before our 10 AM checkout, without asking us. Outsiders were also using the pool that morning. This was totally unacceptable, and only stopped after we complained directly to the owner. Until these serious service problems are fixed, I wouldn't recommend booking, especially for anyone expecting exclusive use and working amenities.

The atmosphere was calming, and the food was fresh and delicious. I had an excellent stay.

We had a company trip, and the stay didn't meet our expectations. I'd suggest looking for another resort or villa.
