We stayed one night and were pleasantly surprised by this excellent property near Udaipur's monsoon palace. The large rooms were well maintained, and the setting has a rustic, rural feel. The attendant was well mannered and looked after us well. We also met the owner/manager, a young, energetic person, and talked about the property and its upkeep. It would suit a group of 10-12 people well.

The food Laxman ji made for us was the best part. He took good care of everything, while Pranay was a wonderful host and Prateek was there too. The atmosphere inside the property matched what we hoped for. A great place to get away and relax in nature. Definitely recommend visiting.

The bonfire on our second night was the one bright spot. The place is away from the city's bustle, but nearby restaurants and pubs played loud music, so it didn’t feel quiet after all. We booked two nights for our family, but the rooms weren’t ready when we arrived, even though we had informed them in advance. We waited in the lobby while staff cleaned them. Lunch portions were tiny and service extremely slow. There were flies around, cigarette butts lying about, and the owners seemed passive about maintenance. The included breakfast was mediocre. The washrooms were poorly maintained, there were no clothes hangers, and the shower handle was broken and coming loose. Our two-room booking had only one attached washroom. Overall, this was very disappointing and not worth the money. Stay away.

The location outside the farm is the one drawback. It’s safe inside, and outside it seemed pretty safe as long as you don’t go out during odd hours, from 9PM to 6AM. If you have a car, going out isn’t an issue. The rooms are lovely, and it’s rare to find this kind of peace. Staff are laid-back and supportive. They don’t interfere with what you’re doing, and make it feel like home beside good neighbours. All in all, 4.8 stars out of 5.
