Hotel Divine inn

Hotel Divine Inn, Udaipur was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had. The location is far outside the city and away from scenic spots and attractions, so getting around every day was tiring, time-consuming, and costly. We’d found the location misleading if you expect to be near places to visit. When we arrived, the bathroom light didn’t work, leaving us unable to use the toilet for nearly two hours. After we complained, the manager (malik) rudely told us to CHECK OUT at 11 PM instead of fixing it. The malik and malkin were both shockingly rude and disrespectful, with no hospitality or empathy. The room assigned to another family in our tour group had potty in the toilet when they checked in. Our bedsheets were visibly dirty, too, and only changed after two full days despite repeated reminders. After the family waited more than 12 hours and called the lady manager, she said “Aap apni awaaz kam kijiye” and hung up. Two cooks travelling with our group weren’t given a mattress or blanket and had to sleep outside in Udaipur’s 9°C cold. We were only asking for a basic blanket, something a decent hotel would provide to cooks and drivers, but they didn’t get one on the first day. The fifth floor has a bar, and hotel guests share the lift with it. Several times we rode with drunk men and chain smokers, which felt very unsafe and uncomfortable, especially for families. The whole stay had no hygiene, professionalism, or hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Divine Inn to families, tour groups, or anyone who cares about basic dignity and cleanliness. Shame on Hotel Divine Inn. Choose another hotel in Udaipur if you don’t want your trip ruined.
