Hotel Mahendra Prakash

The staff were professional and attentive, and the cleanliness, ambience and service were excellent throughout our stay at Hotel Mahendra Prakash in Udaipur. On our last day, we had to leave early and would miss the buffet breakfast, so they packed it for us the night before. The watchman also cleaned my car, which was dusty after a long drive. I hadn’t expected that, and it left a lasting impression of their hospitality. Highly recommended.

After busy travel days, we really appreciated how clean, peaceful and well-kept the property was. It felt inviting and homely, almost like staying in a family home. The staff were friendly and supportive the whole time, and handled every request quickly with a smile. A wonderful choice for families visiting Udaipur, highly recommended.

The location made it easy to walk to City Palace, Lake Pichola, Gulab Bagh and other nearby places. We loved coming back early from exploring to relax on the sunny green lawn by the pool. The food was good, and they’ll customize it if you ask. It’s a serene, calm place with the homely feel of a family-run hotel, and every day we stayed was relaxing. The host was incredibly gracious, and all the staff were helpful and cooperative. They advised us when to visit attractions to avoid crowds, lent me a yoga mat when I asked, and packed breakfast before our early morning train. It’s a real gem. If I return to Udaipur, I’ll stay here again without a second thought.

The owner was courteous and attentive, and the hospitality felt professional while still showing genuine care. Staff and other patrons helped create a welcoming, respectful atmosphere. The food was consistently fresh and well balanced, and the pleasant, thoughtfully designed ambience made for a comfortable dining experience. It was a satisfying visit.
