Jaswant Singh, fondly known as Jassu, is what made our stay memorable. He took care of little details and shared local knowledge, making us feel at home. The rooms are comfortable and have Udaipur's heritage feel, with lovely lake and palace views. Raj Niwas is truly a gem on Lake Pichola, with an unbeatable location. Highly recommend it for the views, comfort, and warm hospitality.

Mr. Jaswant Singh (Jassu) was kind, humble, and helpful, and gave us great food and sightseeing suggestions. His personal touch made the stay stand out. Right on Lake Pichola, Raj Niwas is perfectly placed for exploring the old city, with picture-perfect views. If you're visiting Udaipur and want to stay by the lake, I'd definitely recommend it.

We spent 4 nights here, and Mr Jassu was an excellent host, helpful in every way and full of great lunch and dinner recommendations. Breakfast on the roof came with spectacular lake views. The location is quiet, with no traffic or night clubs, while everything is just 5 mins walk away. We'll definitely stay here next time.

We had a wonderful six night stay at Raj Niwas, and it was unforgettable. Jassu was so welcoming and attentive, and the room was spotless with a beautiful balcony view. Each morning he served delicious breakfast on the rooftop, with amazing views. He recommended and booked fabulous dinners, and on our first evening, brought drinks and dinner to our room from the restaurant next door. He also took us to a local Rajasthan folk dancing evening. He was amazing, and I'd thoroughly recommend Raj Niwas in Udaipur.

There are only 3 rooms, one on each floor, and the view is good only from the 3rd floor. The location is good, but there's no lift or wheelchair facility, and no restaurant or in-house dining. Breakfast is very basic, things like poha, samosa, chai, Parantha, and cutlet. Outside food isn't allowed, though the helper may let you bring it if you ask. The entry door closes by 11 max, so tell them if you'll be out late or want to go out. For what they charge, I'd add some more and go to lake pichola hotel.
