The owner is a decent guy, and when our room’s AC stopped working on the second day, he fixed it within a day after we complained. It’s not a haveli exactly, but you could call it a small, budget-friendly haveli.

The owner’s warmth made our two days in Udaipur feel especially personal. They checked in on us and offered useful suggestions, and the meals were fresh and full of flavor. Room service was quick too, always brought with a smile. We could walk to the major sights from the hotel, which made sightseeing easy. Our room was immaculate, and the whole stay surpassed what we expected. We’d happily come back.

The owner was rude and acted unprofessionally, which made my stay a very bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at any price.

A great place to stay, with City Palace, Pichola lake, Jagdish Temple, Karni mata temple, the ropeway, and Gulab Bagh all within walking distance.

Lunch and dinner were a treat, with plenty of tasty choices, and the location made it easy to walk to the attractions. I found the room spotless, with plush bedding and all the amenities. The staff welcomed me warmly and were attentive throughout, making sure I was comfortable. I had a memorable stay at Hotel Shakti Palace and would recommend it for a relaxing, luxurious getaway.
