Hotel Shree Daulatgarh by OYO Rooms

Housekeeping wasn’t done each day, and the bed wasn’t clean. I’ve never had service this bad, especially from an owner who doesn’t seem to believe in hospitality. I wouldn’t stay here even for free. The place seems suited to unmarried couples, like an OYO. 🤣

We booked through OYO Rooms, where this is listed as an OYO Flagship, but when we arrived the hotel had no booking for us. The location is far from the city, with no nearby food or transport options, and the staff gave us terrible service and responses. Some reception photos on the OYO app look fake, and the reviews also seem paid. This place is the opposite of a flagship hotel. OYO should remove it from the flagship list.

The junior staff were good, but the senior staff weren’t as helpful. It’s far from the city, difficult to get a ride into town, and the place wasn’t clean. Some rooms have the washroom opening onto the balcony; in other rooms, tiles may be broken and/or the shower may not work. The rooms felt shady, and late at night staff wouldn’t answer calls, even when I was asking for a bottle of water. There’s a lot more I could type.

The old town location is very good, and the room was comfortable, clean, and tidy. The staff were friendly and attentive, always welcoming us with a smile. Service was nice, and I’d definitely come back.
