The common area was hard to leave, and after three days I came away with new friends, inside jokes, and a bit of an emotional attachment to it. Hype Hostel lives up to its name. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, even with all the laughter, travel stories, and “one last drink” plans that sometimes became a whole night. Rooms were clean, the vibe was good, and sharing space with strangers felt easy. The staff were friendly, helpful, and calm even when the place felt like a small international festival. They kept things organised without spoiling the fun. The location is spot on and the facilities are solid. It’s easy to arrive as a guest and leave feeling part of a temporary, legendary little community. If you want silent meditation, this might not be the place. For great people, good times, and three days packed with memories, Hype Hostel absolutely delivers. I'd stay again, maybe longer, maybe forever.

Bagore ki haveli is only about a 150m walk from here, and most other places are easy to reach on foot too. Aayush was friendly and helpful throughout. I especially appreciated having hot water, and the stay felt worth every penny.

The rooms and dorms felt cosy and were clean, with a thoughtful setup that works well for backpackers wanting comfort on a budget. The staff made the stay memorable: they were welcoming, cheerful, and happy to help with activities or point out lesser-known places in Udaipur. They were also just nice to chat with. ❤️

I felt safe staying here as a student, and the dorm was tidy, comfortable, and well looked after. The facilities were good too. Aayush bhai was polite and helpful, and was there whenever I needed something. A great place to stay.
