The island views were stunning, with a wide panorama of Lake Palace and City Palace that’s great for photos 📸. The boat ride was enjoyable and relaxing, and the atmosphere felt peaceful. We reached Jag Mandir by boat. Since we booked after 1:30 PM, the ticket was ₹800 per person. Tickets are around ₹600 if booked earlier, so it’s better to go early. There are good food options, though they’re quite expensive. We tried a softy ice cream and really liked it. It’s a scenic spot in the middle of Lake Pichola and offers a unique experience.

The boat ride across Lake Pichola was a lovely part of the visit, with amazing views along the way. Jag Mandir Palace sits on an island, and its beautiful architecture reflects Udaipur’s royal heritage. The palace was peaceful and well maintained, and a great place for photography. A must-see for anyone visiting Udaipur.

We had an amazing time at Jagmandir palace during our Lake pichola boat ride excursion. It was very neat and clean, with good food. Service could use a bit of improvement, though. We actually had to look for waiters to place our orders, and the bartenders took a long time serving guests.

Our dinner at Jagmandir was one of the best luxury dining experiences in Udaipur. It was cold outside, so we chose a table indoors. Mangelal, our server, was very helpful with choosing food. Highly recommended.

The palace has amazing views of the lake. It’s a historic hotel in Udaipur, with restaurants and bars inside, and the building inspired the more famous Taj Mahal in Agra. The food was pretty good, though it seemed more aimed at tourists than locals. Try the goan shrimp curry and biryani.
