Kaner Bagh A Heritage Boutique Hotel

The lobby and cafeteria look lovely, but that didn’t make up for a poor stay. The rooms felt tiny, almost like hostel rooms once an extra bed was added, and the linen wasn’t clean. There were no basic things like a dental kit, bath mat, or body moisturizer, and staff noise disturbed us during sleeping hours. Breakfast was also unpleasant because the dining hall staff member was rude. A smile wouldn’t hurt. The one bright spot was the receptionist, who was very polite and kind to guests.

Hotel Kaner Bagh felt peaceful and looked lovely, and getting around was easy thanks to its location near the city, Shilpgram, and Saheliyon ki Bari. Our room was clean and kept in good shape, and the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout. We had breakfast included, and the spread was good. The hotel is strictly vegetarian, so there were no non-veg options. I also would have liked a live cooking counter at the buffet, as some hotels offer, though you can order items separately. It was a comfortable, enjoyable stay, and I’d recommend Hotel Kaner Bagh to anyone looking for a clean, calm place in Udaipur.

The cocktails are great, though the place is a little pricey. I still think the experience is worth it. The decor is amazing, with antique pieces on display throughout this well-maintained boutique heritage hotel. Live music, lovely seating, good food, and a really nice ambience made for a great evening. It works for a romantic outing, meeting friends, or even a business conversation. Definitely recommended.

The buffet was really good and had plenty of variety, and the hotel's location made it easy to plan our itinerary. What stood out most was the service. Everyone was smiling and eager to help. When my little one vomited at 1 am, the cleaning staff came as soon as we called.
