OYO 81306 Home Modern Stay

We had a comfortable room with good AC. Though we hadn't booked a big one, the owner gave us a larger room with an extra bed because we were traveling with our child. He was friendly and courteous, and the staff were welcoming too. The aloo paranthas we ordered for breakfast were very tasty. The room and bathroom could have been cleaner, though. For the price, it was a very good place and the stay was satisfactory.

Worst hotel I've seen. Please don't come here. The manager is a fraud. They accept online bookings, but when you arrive they say all the rooms are full. Yet if another customer books with cash, they give them a room. Just a rubbish property, please never go.

The location is good, with city attractions nearby, and the place is peaceful and away from people. But it wasn't worth the money. The staff weren't supportive, the rooms and washrooms were dirty and poorly maintained, and there were insects. Our bed was shabby, and they didn't even clean the room the next day. Photos weren't accurate, so we were very disappointed when we arrived. We couldn't get dinner because the cook was on leave, and they had no towels to give us. We booked through MMT, but it was an OYO service, and the OYO manager wasn't supportive. We were told that paying for a service only gets you that service, not better ones. There are many places in Udaipur, so choose carefully. Don't book this hotel, even as a last resort.

The location near Fateh Sagar Lake is good, but the staff and facilities fell short. I booked on Agoda, where free breakfast and Wi-Fi were shown, but the owner, known locally as 'Vakil Saab', charged me for breakfast and didn't provide Wi-Fi. There was no butter at dinner either. I can't recommend it. There are other places to stay near the lake, so look at those.
