Sarasiruham Resort - Private Pool Villa in Udaipur

The resort has a good atmosphere and vibe, and we had a nice stay. It feels closer to a four-star property than a five-star one, though, and the service could be more professional. Around 10 pm, when our kids were asleep, staff rang the doorbell four or five times to get a signature on a restaurant/bar bill. They had forgotten to get it after our order was completed around 7:30 pm. That woke our child, who then struggled to sleep. If they missed the signature, they could have come within an hour or waited until morning. The spa receptionist also refused to give us the 20% discount listed on our voucher. After I asked her to check with reception, she called them and told us there was no discount for our booking. We dropped it, but when we raised it with reception at checkout, staff said they had told the spa to apply the discount. This lack of professionalism made what could have been a great stay feel average. The manager and owner should take this feedback constructively. The spa staff may need replacing, and staff overall need more training and orientation to handle things professionally.

The animals on the grounds were a fun surprise, and we enjoyed visiting them when we asked. There are indoor and outdoor games as well as a gym, so there’s plenty to do. We booked a plunge pool villa at Sarasiruhum Resort, and it was lovely, with a private pool, a nice view, and a beautiful feel throughout. The grounds are thoughtfully designed and well cared for. The food was delicious, and the staff were welcoming and cooperative. Service was quick and efficient. A really relaxing stay, and I’d recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

Vishnu deserves a special mention for being so helpful, polite, and warm with us. The resort was clean, the atmosphere was lovely, the food was good, and the service was excellent. We had a great stay and hope to come back.

We enjoyed wandering around the property, and the swimming pool was clean. Some rooms have private pools, too. The place is beautiful and peaceful, in a lovely location. There are a couple of ancient temples nearby to explore besides Eklingjee. The restaurant was very good, and our helpful host Bishnu, along with Jitendra, took especially good care of guests. We had a great time!
