SPOT ON 82579 Hotel Meghdoot

I paid ₹2000 online for an emergency stay at Hotel Meghdoot, but the room was unhygienic and smelled foul. The curtains were torn and wouldn't close properly. I asked several times for a clean bedsheet, but staff ignored me. The condition was unacceptable at that price, so I had to leave before my stay was over. When I politely requested a refund, the receptionist refused despite my repeated attempts. This kind of unprofessional treatment hurts the hotel's credibility and makes me wonder whether customer service exists here, or if management takes advantage of people in distress.

Oyo confirmed by email that I had booked a plan with breakfast, but the hotel wouldn't accept the confirmation and then denied the breakfast, asking me to pay extra. Oyo's support also seemed to end once I had paid, with no help after that. The hotel's attitude was arrogant, and customer care didn't want to resolve the problem after booking. If you're traveling with family, I wouldn't choose this cheap, substandard service provider. You could end up in trouble at your destination.

I've had a relationship with this hotel for the last 9 years, but the managers weren't around when there was a problem. I'll change hotels the next time I visit Udaipur.
