Taj Lake Palace

Magic is the only way I can describe our return to Taj Lake Palace Hotel. From the shore departure point, the team treated us like VIPs; the boat ride showed off the hotel's grandeur as we came closer. At the entrance, a Rajasthani attendant held a ceremonial umbrella while rose petals fell over us. It was so moving I had a tear in my eye. Harsh Vardhan Tripathi, the Front Desk Executive, made check-in feel personal and treated us like dignitaries. He'd arranged a cake for our upcoming anniversary and birthday, which was such a lovely surprise. Our room was magnificent, with beautiful Indian heritage decor. The rooftop restaurant and its food and views will stay with us for a long time. Thank you to Pradeep Singh Charan, Food and Beverage Executive, Restaurant Manager Pramod Narayanan, Sous Chefs Babu Singh Bhati and Anop Singh Chundawat, and Oveish for looking after us. They paid attention to our requests and every detail. We can't fault the hotel, service or staff. Coming back was sublime, and we'll return.

The meals at Jharokha were a highlight for us. Mr. Mushahid Ahmed, the Restaurant Manager, brought real warmth and care to every visit, and his attention to detail made us feel looked after throughout. That personal service reflected the Taj hospitality we experienced across the stay. Taj Lake Palace itself felt magical from arrival, with its beautiful palace setting in the middle of Lake Pichola and its timeless elegance. The whole team helped make it a stay we'll treasure. It felt like more than a hotel visit, with a sense of royal hospitality that stayed with us.

Taj Lake Palace is a beautiful sight floating on the water, and the atmosphere felt magical, mixing heritage with warmth and luxury. Our room was comfortable, well kept and had a breathtaking view. The food was delicious, and staff made us feel like royalty from the moment we arrived. The service was impeccable. I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Udaipur's grandeur.

In the morning, waking to a flutist playing softly while the palace rests on Lake Pichola sets a wonderfully timeless mood. The care from the staff was personal, never scripted. People greeted us with genuine smiles and seemed ready to help before we even asked. Mahesh, Harsh, Sibani, Dussani, Sneha, Surrendra, Ashley, and Praveen all showed that warmth and made the stay special. We felt cherished and pampered, and already wanted to come back. Staying at Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur felt like being welcomed into a royal legacy. The ambience, attentive service and cuisine came together beautifully, with history and luxury all around us.
