Saying goodbye was hard. It felt like a peaceful haven in India, and I’d like to promise I’ll return. Sitting outside at dusk with a drink from the bar, watching birds fly over the lake, was so peaceful. The property sits right on the lake and is close to the main sites. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the price was great compared with other places I looked at. The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. We could message reception on WhatsApp, and staff sent us recommendations for things like a massage. They answered every question. City Palace and many other main sightseeing spots are walkable. The on-site restaurant was great, too. Its buffet breakfast had a wide, tasty selection of Indian dishes as well as western options. Muskan and Kalpana are very cute. We applied mehndi to them and enjoyed it too, and felt full of enjoyment.

Nitin and muskan provided the best service, and the staff were very nice. Everyone was cooperative and ready to help with a smile. The place had a great vibe and felt clean, comfortable and well organized. Breakfast and dinner were highlights, both tasty and served fresh. Service was smooth, and I felt relaxed while I was there. Definitely a great place to stay in Udaipur, highly recommended!

The food was very tasty, and service was quick and attentive. Every staff member was courteous, polite and ready to help. We had a memorable, comfortable stay at The Experience Resort Udaipur for two nights. It’s a small boutique hotel with a warm, cozy atmosphere and an excellent location for exploring the city. Highly recommended for a visit to Udaipur! Rooms: 5/5

We ate at the hotel both nights, and the food was the best we’d had on our India tour so far. Niladri, the hotel manager, made a stir-fried lotus stem dish that was seriously delicious. Niladri and the rest of the staff were lovely and very professional. The hotel felt like a little oasis amid Udaipur’s bustle. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so good.

Our family spent three nights here, and we couldn’t sleep because live music from nearby restaurants was so loud. The rooms have no soundproofing, and late at night we could also hear guests struggling with their door locks in the hallway. The hot water never worked during our stay, even though staff explained the boiler and showed us the heater button, so we ended up taking cold showers for three days. Our room smelled of sewage when we arrived. Opening the windows and buying an air freshener helped. The location is fairly central for walking to some sights, but it’s in a no-car zone, so we had to take auto rickshaws from other locations with our bags at check-in and check-out. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated their service. My wife left a fair review praising the staff while describing the noise and lack of sleep. At checkout, the manager asked her to change it to raise the star rating. Our reviews reflect what we experienced, so be wary of fake five-star reviews here.
