The location was peaceful and spot on, and the food was delicious with plenty of choices. Rooms were roomy, spotless, and comfortable, and everyone on staff was polite and helpful. It exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for couples and families. I'll definitely come back.
Breakfast was decent and enough, though nothing special, with Indian options. The dosas were especially tasty. We were given a free upgrade, and the staff were courteous and accommodating. I had a great stay with my family at white lotus. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with a few small signs of wear that didn't bother us. The location is perfect, about a 10-minute walk to Shri Krishna temple.
It's an older hotel, but it's maintained very well and the rooms are spacious. We had great service and a good stay. The temple is about 600m away, and you can leave your vehicle safely in the hotel parking and explore udupi on foot. There are plenty of food joints and good restaurants nearby.
We were two women travelling and felt completely safe with our driver, Kartik, who was polite and helpful. You can book a car for local travel. The staff were helpful, and they allowed early check-in and kept our bags after checkout. They cleaned the room and replenished things daily. The hotel felt clean and homely, with complimentary evening snacks as well as breakfast. There was a wide choice at breakfast. Highly recommended!
The buffet breakfast was good, and the hotel has attached Madhuram (veg) and Mallika nonveg, both of which are good. Staff were very welcoming and responsive, and they even moved me to a deluxe room. I booked for my Udupi trip and found the rooms clean and good. It's an easy walk to sri krishna temple. I liked everything and have no complaints. Just go for it.
