At under ₹2000 in March 2025, during the off-season, the price seemed fair for what we got. We travel full-time from Australia and stay somewhere different every night, so we check hotels carefully, especially after finding places in India that weren't as advertised. The first impression here wasn't great, and I might not have stayed if I hadn't already booked. But I checked that the advertised things worked and asked for a few fixes, which changed how I felt about it. The TV was good, and for once we could watch an English-speaking movie. As expected, the remote needed new batteries. I asked for fresh bedding and they changed it without a problem. The pillows seemed fairly new, and room 321 had a spring mattress, which I liked. The mirrors and bathroom fittings were cleaned too, something that isn't always a given elsewhere. It wasn't perfect, but it delivered what the price promised, more than I can say for some other places. I'd recommend it to anyone after a fair-priced stay, provided you're willing to check things and ask for small fixes.

The owner was very rude. There was a pungent smell in both the room and the lift, and the washroom lights didn't work. Its door wasn't working either. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We called ahead, and the old man at Reception said he had a room and quoted us a rate. But when we arrived, he refused to let us stay because I am “a foreigner”. He wouldn't explain why and waved us away into the night. It was a deeply unpleasant, xenophobic experience and a disgraceful way to treat guests.

The hotel response was very bad. The driver said there was a room, but nobody came to Tour and Travels.

I checked in at 7 in the morning and found the staff very well behaved. The hotel is in the heart of the city, near city center Mall, and it's very reasonably priced. After seeing the Google reviews, I cancelled my booking, then booked again to find out if they were right. It turned out to be a good decision. The issues mentioned there had been resolved, and hot water was available 24/7. They asked for a 500 security deposit, which seemed odd, but they said it was hotel policy. I agreed and got it back.
