The hotel is an older property, but it’s been kept clean and in good working order, with a bit of classic charm. It also feels safe and welcoming. We enjoyed the fresh, tasty food from the in-house kitchen. Getting around on foot is easy, with Mahakal Temple and Shipra Ghat a comfortable walk away. There are cafés, food spots, and local markets nearby too. The large parking area is a real plus if you’re driving.

The room rate is quite reasonable, and the staff are helpful and the service is good. There’s parking too, which is unusual for this area. Mahakal Mandir and Kshripra ghat are close by. I wasn’t impressed with the food, so heading to the nearby market for a meal is a better idea.

Being close to the temple was about the only good thing. The rooms were in bad shape, with broken bells, no proper hot water, and no phone service. There was also a foul smell from the cupboard, so I couldn’t put my clothes in it.

My family and I had a terrible stay. The rooms still hadn’t been cleaned after we checked in. The owner was very rude and arrogant with us, and kept arguing about the payment and talking back.

A decent budget option in Ujjain. The management is good, and the room service is nice. Rooms have AC, the bathrooms are clean, and there’s a restaurant on site. Food and tea prices are normal. A good choice if you’re trying to keep costs down.
