The room was filthy, the sheets smelled, and the washrooms were unhygienic. Staff at the counter were extremely rude and didn’t know how to speak to customers. We talk about “Atithi Devo Bhava,” or treating a guest like God, but here it felt more like money came first. Poor cleanliness and a lack of professionalism seem to define this hotel.

We paid ₹2500 for a disgusting room, while the family next door paid ₹1500 for a better one. When we questioned the difference, they said it was because we had a bigger bed. The management felt dishonest, and the hotel seemed like a total scam. The place was filthy. There were dirty walls, smelly sheets, broken items, and an unbearable odor. The bathroom had no exhaust fan, a filthy commode, dirty basin, broken shower, and sticky, half-used handwash. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Worst hotel ever. If you want peace, don’t set foot in this pathetic place.

Cockroaches were all around, and the hotel was in very poor condition. It was so unhygienic, and the staff were so rude that I’d rather sleep in my car than in this so-called hotel. Worst experience, don’t book it.

We paid ₹2500 for a horrible room, while the family opposite us got a better one for ₹1500. When we asked why, the staff’s excuse was that we had a bigger bed. There was no value for money, and the whole thing felt like a scam. I wish I could give it zero stars or even a negative rating. Our stay at Hotel Kesar Laxmi, Ujjain was a nightmare. The room and washroom were filthy, the sheets were dirty, and the whole place felt unhygienic, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The management showed no honesty. I’m never staying here again.
