Hotel Satyam

They take an advance and then fool you. The place isn't the hotel shown in the picture, and it isn't near the temple. I lost my money too.

We paid 2500 for three people in a deluxe room, including an extra mattress, and they kindly let us stay an extra 30 minutes at checkout. The only real plus was that it's about 200 m from the temple. The manager was mostly on the phone, though people were polite. The room had a TV with no connection, Wi-Fi that only worked on the ground floor, an old window AC without a remote that didn't cool until around 2 AM, and a telephone with no line. The manager gave us a number but didn't answer. The bathroom smelled, had no towels or soap, and the stool's flexible legs spread apart when you sat on it, making you fall. There was no hot or cold water. The kettle was there but had no cord, and to get drinking water we had to go downstairs to the restaurant. There wasn't really any service, and the restaurant staff were rude. We ate lunch and dinner elsewhere, and went elsewhere for breakfast the next day. I'd avoid this hotel next time. Better to book somewhere decent around 1 km away; a 20rs charge e-rickshaw can take you near the temple. It could suit an elderly couple, but there's no lift.

I visited in March 2025 and wouldn't recommend booking here, even if the rate is very cheap. The hotel and rooms weren't clean, and both were poorly maintained, including the passages. The service provider's attitude was awful, leaving us feeling helpless and frustrated. You'll regret staying here.

I booked a month ahead through booking.com, but the room felt like a hotel catfish. It was matchbox-sized, among other issues, and the AC didn't cool. The receptionist was the one good part and was very helpful, so I gave the place an extra star just for that. Since there are no exterior photos here, here's one.
