The blanket in our room was torn and in poor condition. I had asked for another one at check-in, but it didn’t arrive until nighttime. I had told the owner in advance that I would arrive early and paid an advance for it. Still, he gave me only 15 minutes in a different room that was already booked so I could get ready for the temple. Later, he claimed I hadn’t mentioned arriving early and that the advance was only for getting ready and going to the temple. He was very rude and treated me as if I couldn’t read the check-in and check-out times. I was also overcharged. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve had in Ujjain.

The room was tiny and full of dust, and neither it nor the hotel was clean. The washroom wasn’t good either. Staff were unhelpful the whole time.

This was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. The staff weren’t supportive at all. I’d tell friends and family planning to explore Ujjain and Mahakaleshwar not to try this place.

Don’t book online, the listing has misleading information. This property appears on Booking.com as Hotel P Palace, and it was also listed on Agoda under that name until they corrected it. The third-party listing also showed high-level facilities.

At checkout, the owner refused to let us leave our luggage on the premises, so we had to find another room instead of going to aarti. Staff service was terrible, and workers spoke badly to women. The owner was a big liar. I’m an Airforce officer, and I stand by the honesty of this review. This hotel, its staff, and its service have made me think much worse of this place. The worst I’ve ever seen.
