The bathroom cleanliness could be better, and it would help to have basic toiletries like soap or shower gel. Otherwise, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, with a relaxed, homely setup suited to families. Viresh bhai and caretaker Akshat were warm and cooperative, attentive, and available when we needed help. A good place for families, with supportive hosts and a welcoming feel.

Shreeyansh, the owner, is polite and cooperative. He also helps with auto driver numbers, directions to the temple, and local travel. The rooms are generally clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and it’s good value for money for a short stay. Works well for a night or two near the temple.

The gated community has greenery and a peaceful, home-like feel. Mahakal temple is a 10-minute walk away, and walking through the lanes gives you a taste of local culture. We were two women travelling together and had wondered how a homestay would compare with a hotel, especially for safety. Booking Shivaay Homestay turned out to be the right call: the stay was comfortable, clean, and felt safe. Our host was understanding and generous with our requests, even at the last minute, and the family kindly helped us with routes and directions. From a woman traveller’s perspective, I found it trustworthy and safe, even for a solo traveller. My friend was running late to the station for her train, and the host offered to drop her there. The stay added to our lovely Mahakal visit. Definitely recommended!

The owner was especially polite and helpful, and made sure guests felt welcome. We had a very comfortable stay, with clean rooms and excellent service. A wonderful hotel experience, highly recommended.

We had a good stay in a clean room with AC available. Shreyansh looked after us at the property. It’s a completely new place, but the team is already on top of keeping it clean. A good choice for couples, families, and friends.
