Saryu Home Stay was clean, comfortable, and easy on the budget, with well-kept rooms and excellent service. Its location close to Mahakal Temple made darshan convenient. Mr. Ashish Khandelwal was friendly, polite, and helpful, and guided us during our stay. I'd recommend it to families and solo travelers visiting Ujjain.

At Saryu Homestay, the service was courteous and efficient, and the whole stay felt comfortable and well organized. The rooms were clean, maintained well, and pleasant. It's near Daulatganj Chauraha, just 950 meters from the Mahakaleshwar Temple, which made it convenient for pilgrims and other visitors. Thanks to the owner, Mr. Ashish Khandelwal, for his professionalism and hospitality. I'd recommend it as a reliable, comfortable place to stay in Ujjain.

I stayed at Saryu Homestay in daulatganj, Ujjain on 12.12.25. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and hygienic, with daily housekeeping, and the owners and team were friendly and ready to help with temple timings, local tips, or other requests. It's about 1 km from Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, roughly a 15-minute walk or a quick auto ride, and close to Harsiddhi Mandir, Ram Ghat, Ujjain Junction station, and local eateries. The rooms are comfortable and budget-friendly, with clean linens, private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, and AC in some rooms. There is no in-house restaurant, but plenty of vegetarian food nearby, and the basic setup may feel simple if you're used to luxury hotels. The area can be noisy from street sounds because it's near the temple, though it was manageable. A fantastic budget stay for pilgrims.

Check-in was easy thanks to helpful, cooperative staff, and the tidy lobby felt welcoming. Our room was spacious and incredibly clean, and the food was delicious and satisfying. I had an amazing stay and highly recommend the service, amenities, and location. Five stars isn't enough! 😊

Ashish Khandelwal ji was very helpful and gave us good guidance, and his staff member 'Preet' was active and helped arrange an e-rickshaw for our Ujjain darshan. This is a great place to stay near Mahakaleshwar temple, and I recommend it. Jai shri Mahakal. 🙏
