The room had no window or exhaust fan and wasn't clean. They didn't provide free water or soap. At a minimum, the hotel should provide a bottle of water, soap, and hand wash.

The route from the temple goes through a slum, and the autos that take you there seem to get a nice commission. I posted the original pictures because you shouldn't book based on the Google photos. The rooms stink and are unhygienic, the bedspreads are dirty and don't get changed, and the restrooms are dirty too. The flush didn't work, and there were rusty screws all over. The owner took full payment and wouldn't refund it when I left one or two days early. It's the worst room in Ujjain; you can't even stay for an hour. I wouldn't visit even if the owner paid me. It's that disgusting.

The staff behaved very badly, the service was poor, and the cleaning was bad. Don't stay here.

The staff seemed uninterested and unwelcoming, and the room was a nightmare. With so little cleanliness, comfort, or basic amenities, the whole stay was miserable and among the worst hotel experiences I've had. I strongly advise against staying here.
