From the room you get an awesome view of the Ganga through the utarkashi valley. The location is excellent, and the rooms, staff, and food are all good. The service is hard to match, and the food has an authentic homemade style.

The rooms were very clean and the food was good quality, with very good hygiene. Thank you, sudheer Bhai, for the hospitality, arranging vehicles, and helping make it such a good stay. Your food suggestions were helpful too, especially the momo. I also highly recommend the sandwich from cafe 18.

The Himalayan views from the rooms at Hotel Amba Nivas are breathtaking, and the rooms themselves are spacious, clean, and well equipped, with comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and attentive, helping with requests, transport, and itinerary planning. I was impressed by the fresh, locally sourced ingredients in the restaurant’s varied local and international food. The architecture is striking, and the welcome and attention to detail made for a comfortable stay. Hotel Amba Nivas is a beautiful, welcoming option in Uttarkashi, and I highly recommend it for a trip to this part of India.

I booked a Char Dham Yatra trip through Legends Holiday and was very disappointed. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and they didn't listen to our requests, so we had to repeat ourselves several times. The food was terrible, and they charged extra for curd.
