They had breakfast ready at 4:00 AM before our Gangotri visit, which I really appreciated. The staff were professional and respectful throughout, and especially responsive and courteous. Manager Mukesh was warm and welcoming. The food was excellent, the room was comfortable, and the location was beautiful. The ceiling fan wasn’t working, but the team quickly brought a table fan and did their best to fix it. Understandable in a mountain location. We had a very comfortable stay as a family, and I’d gladly recommend it.

The room we were given was nothing like the one we had booked. It was cramped, with no ventilation or AC, and our luggage wouldn’t fit. The room was poorly maintained, the bathroom and washroom were unhygienic, and the drainage was bad. When we raised this, staff rudely told us our booked room had gone to another family because they arrived first. They refused to let us speak to the manager and wouldn’t suggest nearby hotels when we asked. They just walked past the reception desk.

The à la carte food was better. The buffet was below average.

The riverside location is lovely, and the food here is undoubtedly great. Service is top-notch too. Arjun and Balbir deserve a special mention for their dedication to looking after customers.
