Courtyard By Marriott Vadodara

I'm a repeat customer, but after this I won't visit again. When my car was locked, it was a genuine mistake, not something done on purpose, and I fixed it in under 15 minutes by getting the spare key. The security person shouted at me until another guest stepped in and told him not to speak that way. Instead of helping, the staff made me wait in the alley by the cars, with upset faces, unpleasant talk, and no remorse. A 5-star hotel should have offered a coffee and asked me to calm down while the key arrived. Tanvir, your polished response sounds good, but the experience was humiliating. The Sikh hotel manager sided with low-level security staff, insulting and blaming me, and management stayed biased even after I was upset. They seemed ready to damage a customer's property without consent and showed no concern for the distress. The South Indian manager had the same attitude when I escalated it. A street-side watchman offers better hospitality than this suited-and-booted team. Please improve how your staff treat people.

The food was okay, though I expected more from a brand of this calibre. We attended a close ring ceremony for a family friend in the first-floor banquet hall. The space was used well, with a nicely set-up small stage, a good music system, and convenient access for service and guests. Food was laid out across the open area, though more seating would have helped. The staff on call were very helpful, polite, and prompt, taking care of extra tasks with a smile.

The location is excellent, and the room was good, though not worth 23000 rs a day. The cafe at reception was the only good part. The restaurant was very dirty, with seats that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Food was just average, not up to Marriott standards.

Everything is close by, which made staying here really convenient. The hotel has lovely interiors and is one of the best five-star hotels in Vadodara. Restaurants, malls, and other key spots are all nearby.
