Express Residency Hotel

Priya Patel, Sales Manager at Express Residency Hotel, made my stay comfortable and reassuring. She took personal care of a sugar patient, thoughtfully handling dietary needs and checking regularly on comfort and well-being. Her empathy, professionalism, and dedication went well beyond standard service. It's rare to receive such personal attention, and I'd recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to be treated with care and respect.

The location is peaceful, with easy access to other parts of the city, and there's decent parking. The service needs improvement, though. Our booking included a welcome drink, but we never got one. They also said toiletries were out of stock, including a dental kit. That's poor management for a 4 star property.

The room wasn't ready until 6:30 PM because the decorations were still being done during check-in, so nearly 5 hours of the paid stay were lost. I paid ₹16K for a Honeymoon Package in an Executive Suite, which was listed online at around ₹6K. They said the extra was for special honeymoon inclusions, but what I got was poor management and promises that weren't kept. The package said “breakfast in bed till 12 PM,” yet staff flatly refused when I asked, saying breakfast time had ended. That was either serious miscommunication or deliberate mis-selling. I tried repeatedly to reach the manager. Staff member SAMYAK couldn't connect me despite my requests, and MR. QADRI (Manager) promised to call back on 5th February, but there was still no response by 16th. It was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. This was a wedding gift for my close friend. If newlyweds are treated this way after paying premium prices, the hotel needs to rethink how it operates. Express Hotels used to be the top name in Baroda, but I guess not anymore. Not worth the money, and I don't recommend it.

We had one of our most amazing experiences here. Everything at express residency felt perfect, and I couldn't find much to fault. You can't go wrong with this place.
