Hotel Akshar Palace

With a 4.7-star rating, we expected better. We booked two rooms for two families, arrived after midnight, and left early. Even though we'd specifically asked for clean washrooms, they hadn't been cleaned. The staff were unresponsive and uncooperative from the moment we arrived. We asked for mosquito control, but nothing was done. When we requested repellent, they gave us only one. The drinking water they provided was questionable. They guaranteed hot water in the morning, but there was no hot water, or even normal water, in the taps. After repeated complaints and arguments, they still couldn't resolve it. In the end, they told us to use the staff washroom for hot water, which was unacceptable. I tried calling the owner several times, but his phone was switched off. It was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. The property needs better management, staff training, and basic hospitality standards. Cleanliness, responsiveness, and essential things like water aren't optional. Management should address these problems or they'll keep losing customers. Based on our experience, I don't recommend this place.
