I left Hotel Ideal, Baroda much earlier than planned. The damp, stale air smelled awful, and nothing seemed clean: not the room, bathroom, or bedsheets. The room had no windows or ventilation, and it felt like being shut inside a concrete box. The lift wasn't working, leaving only filthy, poorly kept stairs. The whole property seemed neglected. Staff acted indifferent, and complaints went nowhere. This was a nightmare of a stay, and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. One star feels generous.

They quoted a low price over the phone, then gave us a higher one when we arrived. When we contacted them by phone, the staff were also very rude and disrespectful. I recommend staying away.

It's near the station, and the room is okay for the price. The hotel is on the third floor of a commercial building. Ventilation isn't good.
