The corridors and room smelled bad, and neither seemed clean. Rooms are very small, and there are hardly 10 of them, despite the pictures making the hotel look big. Nobody else was staying there when I visited. I don’t understand the 4+ rating, and going there would be the worst decision. I wouldn’t plan a family stay; with friends it might be acceptable.

It’s just okay, with not much to praise. If you have a function nearby in Waghodia, it could work for an overnight stay. The lift wasn’t working, so you have to take the stairs to the second floor.

The staff were the best part of my stay at Hotel Mansarovar. They were friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to meet my needs. There’s no kitchen at the hotel, but they arranged tea, coffee, and a tasty Indian breakfast when asked. The rooms are basic, yet clean, cozy, and furnished well enough for comfort. Set in a commercial complex on the second and third floors, it’s a short walk from the main Ajwa Chokdi and convenient for nearby amenities and exploring Vadodara. A good value option if you’re after a welcoming place to stay.

The only reason I’m giving three stars is the boy who cleaned the room and washroom. He did clean the sticky toilet seat, though he asked for a tip and even told me how much to give, which was okay. The rest was terrible. Just seeing the bedsheet gave me an allergy, and the mattress was badly worn. The AC was okay but took forever to cool. Luckily I only had to stay 3 to 4 hours. I couldn’t sleep from 7 am to 10 am, and I’m sure I wouldn’t have slept at night either. Calling this a hotel is pathetic; even lodges seem better. Don’t consider spending a night here.
