Hotel Mini Palace

The place is old, with old furniture and no paintings. There’s no hot water connection in the room, though they’ll bring it in buckets if you ask. The water also has no softener.

The bathroom door had no lock or latch, so we had to leave it open when using it. The room we were first given also had a broken fan, dirty sheets, and a blanket that didn’t seem properly washed. When we complained, they brought a table fan that was even worse. Our online booking partner then helped move us to another room, but it wasn’t any better. Even after we raised the issues, the hotel didn’t seem to care or do anything. This was the worst experience I’ve had. Avoid this place.

Near Bull Circle, there are shops and little food places for students’ everyday needs. It’s an economy stay close to MS University Hostels, and it isn’t maintained very well. Still, for one or two nights alone, it can work if you don’t expect much.

I barely slept for even an hour and a half, despite being exhausted. Mosquitoes were everywhere, and they gave us agarbathi to deal with them. My eyes were still burning two hours after it had finished, and the whole night felt like a nightmare that left me more tired. There’s no lift, no soap, and no hot water. You have to haul all your luggage up very narrow stairs with no railing. This is a Mosquito palace, not a mini palace. Please don’t book here. For just 200 or 300 rupees more, you can get better service somewhere else.
