Hotel Rahi Local Unmarried Nri Not Alloewed

My mother and I spent four days here in an AC deluxe room, from 27th to 2nd Feb 2026, and I had a really good stay. It’s a budget hotel, so don’t expect a 5 Star experience. The room faced the road and was bright and airy. It was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom, and housekeeping came regularly. Room service was prompt. There’s a lift, AC and an intercom. We arrived around 10pm and check-in was smooth, with the room already ready. The staff were helpful, cooperative and friendly. There’s no in-house restaurant, but you can order food online or find plenty of places to eat nearby; reception staff can also get food for you if you call. They have a travel desk too. I went to Dakor and Pavagadh, and the reception guy sorted out what I needed. The hotel is centrally located near the railway station and bus stand, with autos and Uber available around the clock. The airport is 6 km away. I paid Rs 200 for an Uber. If I come back to Vadodara, I’ll stay here again. All the best to the team.

I’m not planning to stay here again, and I’m withdrawing my recommendation through my company so this doesn’t happen to other employees. I’d given the hotel a 5 star rating last night, and a colleague and I had been staying here for three days, getting food from outside. I ordered 2-3 dishes a day. Today an attendant suddenly asked me for a service charge on those dishes and wanted to know why I wasn’t buying from the restaurant I got them from. That was shocking and frustrating over just 2-3 dishes, especially since sometimes I went down to collect them instead of asking for room delivery.

The airports, bus stands and railway stations are all nearby, and it’s a great location. I stayed at Hotel Rahi with my family for three days in July. The rooms were clean and hygienic, and the staff were polite. Special thanks to Mr. Jayeshbhai (Manager), who helped us a lot.

The staff gave good service, and the room was very nice.
