OYO Flagship 79318 Hotel Bansal

This hotel is very close to the back side Railway Station, and the main attractions are nearby. For a family of five on a two-day Vadodara trip, we stayed here for one day. It's budget friendly and could suit people arriving by train, as well as friends or solo travelers. Check-in times are flexible, and the staff were humble, hospitable, and did what they could to help. After I asked, the manager moved my parents to our first-floor room so they wouldn't have to manage the longer stairs. That room was good for the price. Our two classic rooms had AC, but one was on the third floor and one on the first, and there's no elevator. The rooms were average and not especially comfortable. The bathroom wasn't well maintained and the wash basin was awful. There's no hotel kitchen for ordering food to the room, either. There is no basement or private parking for cars, so we left ours on the road and felt a bit unsafe. I wouldn't choose it for a family. The bathrooms and basins especially need work.

The room was quite spacious, with a queen-size bed, though the bed wasn't good. Service was quite good and the bus station is almost within walking distance. The stay was decent, but not above average. It's fine for a night or two; if you're coming to explore the city, I'd look at other options.

The prices are budget friendly, and the staff are available at all times. Rooms were okay. A good hotel for the price.

After being shown two rooms in very bad condition, which they claimed were very good, I refused and cancelled my booking. The rooms weren't clean or sanitized like the photographs suggested. I wish I could give it zero stars, or not rate it at all. The owner should realize that laziness and truancy on the job are costing them customers. Please don't treat customers this way.
